Hello foog! How do you learn Maya? Your designs are wonderful and a joy to look at!
Hey Casimir thanks a bunch! everything in maya i've learned so far is just the result of me googling things on youtube and looking at cute simple games like katamari damacy.
thought i would make something quick in ps and try to see if i could finish it in maya
having some trouble with the ghosts arms, i used reverse normals to make the glowing outer shell. My problem here is that the outer shell is clipping with the arms and fingers inside
This is based on a scene from a 2005 game called The Rub Rabbits
heres a boring little room i put together
who stole frogs food??
i was thinking about shoving some of the stuff i made into unity. ive never tried the program before and it would be a good excuse to tinker around and learn.
I love the look and feel of your scenes, Foog. The simplistic modelling works really well with the flat cartoonish colors. Keep it up! I'd like to see more of it.

Thanks for the comment! Sorry i cant think of a very good response but im glad you enjoy my work.
Here are some of my attempts at learning unity. I don't know any programming but i guess i will have to learn some C#. The learning curve for unity has been slowing me a down a bit, but ill keep moving and hope for the best

i haven't updated this thread in a very long time but heres a mix of 2d and 3d stuff i've been messing around with
my life's been changing a lot lately and if i can manage to finish up at least some
of this stuff and learn some new things that would be a nice start to getting myself back on track

oh and here's a very inaccurate copy of this painting http://crehfeld.blogspot.com/2013/10/apples-and-neutral-colors.html with much more saturation and not enough measuring
