Trying out UE4 for the first time. Made a simple block man with a no-frills rig, direct parenting for the body parts, and simple 3 keyframe animation. When I export from max as an FBX (same as written
here) and import it in to UE4 there's no animation. I've tried a few things, but no luck.

I'm not really a rigger/animator, and the little I have done for that has been in Maya/Blender years ago, so I'm sure I'm missing something basic. Can someone enlighten me?

Anyhow, found out that animations import fine so long as I enable 'Bake Animation' and 'Resample all' on export. I am concerned it might cause problems with transitions having a key on every frame, but I haven't got to test that yet.
