Road Warrior Xmen

After mad max fury road and playing the new mad max game I decided to revisit an old idea I had for road warrior x-men. Starting with finishing off an old comic con entry, Road Warrior Colossus May he ride forever in Valhalla, shiny and chrome.

did first pass normal and ao bake. still need to clean it up a bit.

Tectonic

A lot of the characters in mad max had tattered scarves or bandannas around their neck for the dust. might make a cool addition to your guy.

Good idea I was also thinking of adding some more stuff around the belt like a canteen and a grenade launcher for the holster.

here's a texture wip of the base body, still need to do the eyes and mouth interior and add the accessories

It's been a year so time for another update on this guy. re did a bunch of the textures and added more accessories.

quick pose may call this one done for now. move on to some different characters, maybe night crawler or storm.

Hahaha this is such a cool idea! i'm not entirely sure Colossus was the right choice for it, but it's definitely a cool idea, and the non-colossus parts have come out pretty well.

What i might suggest though, is using anything other than steel/chrome for anything that's not "him" though, as the palette is already saturated by that colour.

well, he is definitely going to Valhalla..
And adding to what almighty_gir pointed out, reducing the specular intensity on the leather and other parts that are not his body will help create a better contrast between chrome and not chrome. Aside from that, looking pretty good!
