Hi,
I'm learning environment art by watching tutorials. I am learning 3D software (maya, photoshop etc)
but for traditional art, which are the things require to learn to be a better artist?
I read that color and light theory is very important.
Any other things to learn for environment artist ? Any architectural related stuff?
Where should i learn all these ?
Which book or tutorial are good to learn all this stuff ?
Thank you!!

A lot of color theory resources are wrong or out of date.

If you've got money to spend, there's the Kusanagi collection:

Not trad but applied to CG, the last edition is from last year.
Also I know you haven't mentioned composition but I found this recently, it's awesome, at least at my level:

Haven't watched it, but looking the topics and example video it looks rubbish.
Sadly with the state of light and colour teaching, the skill of an artist isn't really an indication of their technical understanding of colour. I've heard some bat-shit crazy stuff from really good artists...
oh ok. thanks..
