Hello! I am making a fairly straightforward blue anodized skin for the 9MM.
The skin is primarily inspired by the first reference image. I have also always liked the anodized weapon skins in CSGO so I guess it is partly inspired by those too.

In the first prototype the material appears too dark in game.

And testing it out it is not a finish that looks particularly good with any wear:

"Unpainting" the barrel also contributes to defining the geometry in the first-person perspective. I also have been gradually tweaking the specularity and gloss of the paint to try and achieve a more vibrant material.
