Hey Ladygrace , the vray exporting is on the roadmap , but there is certainly a work around for the moment !
I have Vray here , can i know wich kind of maps you want to use in vray , i could test it out with you since vray has pretty much different kinds of materials
I am wanting to use albedo, AO, Gloss, Normal and Specular maps within maya.
I have looked around for to see if there is any guides for Vray but i cant find any at all using the Suite in the workflow. Also does Vray render PBS at all as well?
Yes , i tried all your maps out with a standard export preset of quixel ( PBR / spec ) on vraymtl material . Vray can without any problem load those kind of maps ( just not the AO , you dont need it ).
Dont forget that vray doesnt follow the same standards as other PBR engines .
If you are looking at a PBR renderer , i suggest you to look after Marmoset.
Thank you very much for the reply Najim.
I am guessing i will have to Use Marmoset like you said as the only texturing practices i have are using ones for PBR engines dang it.
I will have to learn the other practices, by any chance do you know where i would start with that process at all Najim.

Just as Najim states, better export options for V-ray will be available for 2.0!
Hope this helps
