My new cartoon adventures series that Im trying to get up and running.

Hi there,

Just thought I'd share an idea I am playing around with right now.
"Alfons the Cat" Hes a fun light hearted cat, not quite a kitten, not quite grown up.
I hope to be able to create loads of adventures.
I have put up a teaser trailer if you have the time to check it out.

Oh screw you!! I'm tihnking of doing the exact same haha.:D

The character you see in my avatr is a character I designed for which I plan and hope to use in a series of vlogs on Youtube.

Seriously good luck with the rest. Right now, I'd say the animation needs way more time as it looks kinda odd. Also, I'd suggest you to make more interesting gags cuz right now, it's kinda boring.

Looks like you're off to a decent start. Your character is quite appealing and the combination of sketch shaded and semi-realistic elements works quite well.

Right now what you really need to do is get into to your curve editor and really punch up that animation. You'll be able to get a lot more life, personality and humour out of him that way.

If you're not already familiar with it, it'd be worth taking a look at Simon's Cat on Youtube which has a similar concept, albeit in a traditional animation style. It's really appealing and nails a balance between realistic cat and cartoon animal.

Hi there thanks for the comments.

Your right about the animation.. My problems was i was so keen on getting something out there. i'll definately be twisting those curves a lot more for the next one. And hopefully i hope to get much better with story telling/scripting as i do more films.

By the way blond, the character looks great from the image, wouls love to see more of it or an animation of it.

    All the best
    Woody.
