    I have begun modeling the first of three characters metabee
    the others being ikki and rokusho

    Today I have done the Rokusho and Ikki models, finishing the character models I need to do for the Diorama.

    The next step is to unwrap these models.

    Week 2


    Today I finished Unwrapping the Character models,

    Unwrap times as follows:
    1st model - Metabee 2hrs
    2nd model - Rokusho 1hr 30min
    3rd model - Ikki 1hr 8min

    After I discovered I can save time of UV mapping by copying parts that have already been unwrapped as well as symmetry, unwrapping became less tedious to do.

    The texture is 128 x 128.

    It seems that my first UV map is bad as I have too many islands, this became obvious when I began to texture because of this set back, I used this texture as place holder and tomorrow I will rearrange and re-attempt texturing.

    I redone the texture, by giving the main parts more space, and then rest of the Uvs to be delegated to the bottom left swatches.

    Today I have done the completed texture for metabee, now I am going to move on to the other character textures.

    I still need to do alpha maps for the hair, but I save that for a later date

    I finished most of the pieces that I will be doing for the diorama, all the models are unwrapped, its just a matter of texturing as well as adding in a few alpha maps.

    Today was more texture work, I got more textures for the floor as well as the lamp, and alpha maps for Ikkis hair as well as bullets and explosions.

    Today was more or the same of finishing off my textures,

    In the meantime I posted my Diorama [WIP]

    It is on the verge of completion just a few more touch ups here and there, and then I will release the version with the textures.
