I've sculpted before, but this my first official sculpt of a human head. (sorry for the lack of a side and 3/4 view) my laptop's been down.
Hey Seanl90, did you use a reference? I've always been told to always use a reference when starting out. We always have an assumption of how things should look like vs how things really are. I suggest doing the face plane to get a general idea of the planes of the face...I am also learning this one. As far as your sculpt..the area between the nose and the mouth are too inflated/exaggerated. The nose is too long as well, just looking at the front view, the side (temporal area) should be a little flatter and you see the roundness of the back of the skull region..hope this helps
