I had an idea to do something with all of my old, unrelated practice objects: put them in a simple attic! I'm going to fix up some of the old low-poly geo, supe up the materials and finish up the scene with some new pieces that will make the scene feel more attic-y.

Unfortunately there were some weapons and hand-painted assets that didn't really fit haha.

The purpose of this will be a to create a final resting place for all the hard work my younger self did. :P


This is what I put together today, I'll be updating as I go.

Update! Added a few new things. Next I am going to tackle the glowing window frame since I am not sure how I accomplished that. Still some old geo to clean up, etc

New update. All I can do for today--improved the lighting, a few other small material related fixes.

Looking a lot better already mate. The one thing that sticks out to me the most at this point, is the cloth you have on the right side of the screen. It feels like it's not soft enough, but kinda thick and tough like leather. Other than that I'm liking it a lot! Maybe get some more detail on the ceiling, some horizontal planks or something to break it up a bit and provide support to the roof.
