I like World War One airplanes, so I decided to create one. Modeling - Autodesk Maya, unwrapping - unfold 3D, texturing - Mari, rendering - Vray. It's very high detailed and textures are 16K at the airplane's body and wings. 8K on cockpit and 4K on machine-guns and engine. Airplane on the image - Pfalz D III with Mercedes D III engine on board and two spandau machin-guns. Paint scheme belongs to Joseph Lantenschlager pilot from Jasta 11. Everything created for smooth and very high detailed. It's my favorite setting so I decided to make it very high detailed and modeled all the airplane with pilot. Then I textured it in Mari and rendered with vray 3.0.
Thanks to Rise of Flight (and IL-2 Sturmovik) developers for good references: they helped me a lot with good photos and blueprints used for game "Rise of Flight".
