Do you consider a ColorChecker to be necessary?

Hi! I have been thinking of getting myself a ColorChecker passport since i recently got a DSLR camera. I'v seen a lot of nice results with it, but i don't have that much money at the moment so not sure if it's worth the investment (i know it's not a lot, but i'm saving up)... I'm mainly using my camera to grab reference as well as shoot photogrammetry from time to time.

Get one if/when you're actually earning money with what you're doing. Until then a simple grey card is fine. Invest money on more useful gear first IMO.
