For me CC 2015 works quite well with 1.8, not many crashes. Or maybe I just figured out most of the causes for crashes and operations likely to crash and subconsciously avoid them.
It's less that the Suite crashes on CC 2015 and more that it has issues with patterns and other essential tools in the DDO workflow. Until 2.0 releases I would highly recommend staying with CS6 for now.
I'm sorry you feel that way, kilik. As software (in this case, Photoshop) evolves but software that depends on it doesn't, there are things that are bound to stop functioning properly eventually. We're actively working on Suite 2.0, which has compatibility with every Photoshop version from CS3 to CC 2015. We'll let you awesome guys know as soon as it's ready!
why not open up the 2.0 beta then? I completely understand the need for a closed professional beta initially, but once you started giving out closed beta invites to random people on facebook, you kinda lost that understanding.
if its good enough for random people on facebook, why not give all owners the option when it seems the 2.0 beta is more stable than the 1.8 patch? i'd rather deal with bugs and new features than crashes and old ones. when people have dealt with so many bugs for so long waiting for 2.0, the facebook thing was a little insulting.
Fatrobotsneedlove: The reason we're keeping the closed beta to a select number of individuals is because the builds aren't stable enough for a public release. That is unfortunately all I can say on the matter, but please rest assured that the 2.0 release will be significantly worth your wait!

I downgraded to CS6 and now I have two versions of Photoshop installed. How do I tell quixel to use CS6?
Edit: I didn't feel like waiting :poly142: So I just reinstalled. Did the trick. Thanks anyway!
