I'm doing Vampire Hunter D's Fanart for my free time.
I haven't learn character sculpting, so it is a kind of self challenge, and even don't know when I can finish it.
Amano's illustration is super flat, but beautiful at the same time; so I've had many difficulties since I started. I think It is a good practice for my self as 3D artist to make 2D into 3D.
This is what I've got so far. I don't know when I start to sculpt the other part. I'm thinking to model the small things on the hat first.
