I'm currently working on a female character and trying to get better at anatomy. At the moment I'm trying to get the form down before I add more detail and pose the character. So any feedback would be welcome and appreciated.
Looking clean, good job on the face so far. I think just below the eyes there should be less of a depression. Makes them look like they're sticking out too much from profile view.
The upper body makes her appear out of balance, looks like she's leaning forward, except her head isn't following (if that was possible at all, hehe). Especially the whole ribcage area. I suggest you move it towards the back, arch the spine some more (eof3D's base mesh for education purposes):
Might also be her butt cheeks though, I'm not entirely sure.
You should also bring out the anatomical landmarks on the back some more. I can see you suggested some in the 3/4 view but you should be able to clearly see a depression along the spine just below the ribcage, for example.
I like the neck area with the clavicles.
I did as you suggested. Hopefully some my changes weren't too subtle though. I've replaced the pics in original post with the news ones.
As for the curvature of the spine, I may have made the butt a bit bigger than the reference... So I've reduced it. I also moved the rib cage area back slightly.
