Hi Polycounters.. Finished the Idle animation for my lowpoly Haunter remake.. Loosely based on the Pokemon Stadium idle animation.

Any suggestions on how to improve it?

I am a beginner to animation but I'd say either a swooping bop (up, down) in the middle of a cycle or a (left right) swoop (think circle) with him eager to get started or a shake (think chills) shake it off type of movement.

For a game like pokemon that animation works very good :)! and yeah if you want to add a variation what David said is spot on :). Maybe making a little change in one hand will help with the symmetry , but its pokemon :) the way you have it right know fits in the game ( just a comment )

    Pretty cool!

This is great for a base idle, so now add some fidgets! Similar to what david was saying, but I think they would deserve to be their own animations that would randomly get cycled in engine.

Wasn't it haunter who would pull his face and stretch it huge in the show? That would be pretty rad, haha. Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback! Really appreciate it..
@ David: That sounds good, will give it a shot!
@ Arturow: Will do! Sounds like a must.. it does look too symetrical..
@ heboltz: Forgot about that expression! I bet it would look fun, might give it a shot. I am only doing a short Idle animation, not planning on exporting it or anything tbh..

    Thanks again!
