[KF2] - Item - Officer's Cap

Hi, I'm going to be making a Wehrmacht Officer's Cap for Strasser.

I went to Google to find a couple of good reference images, and I've been using these, since they show the shape of the cap and the emblems on it very well.





And this is the model that I've made:









And a couple of renders on the character, to make sure it doesn't look to silly:

Okay, so I got the UV unwrapping all done, and I was able to add some color to it. But more importantly I can start really working on the texture now.

Okay, I think I've got the texture to the point where I'm happy with it, I just need to figure out how to get it into the game now.

I got it to show up in game correctly! But I want to make a few more tweaks to it before I put it up on the Workshop.

It's looking really good! I love the texture you gave the material of the hat. I think it really blends in with the characters style. Have you considered adding small bits of damage on the hat to show it's age?

I really like the materials and colors too, it only needs a bit more wear I think. ^^

Alright, I tried making a more battered and beaten version, how does this look?

Okay, I edited the colors a bit on the worn out variant of the hat to better match Strasser's worn out uniform:






I'm much happier with it now.

Okay, so I've put together worn and clean versions for both the gray and green uniforms.





I think I might be ready to call this complete.

It was suggested to me to make an NCO's variant with a leather chinstrap to better match Strasser's Uniform, so I did.
