Hello,
I was wondering something regarding the texturing process.....
So lets say you created all the textures(color map, diffuse, specular, bump ect). Is there a tutorial where it shows where to plug these textures in Maya? I know how to do some, but there are a lot that I don't know(like ambient occlusion). Not sure if there is a place where you can learn this in detail.
Also, the textures come out blurry/pixelated(created 1024X1024 size). Is there a way in Maya to make it less blurry?
Thanks!

But I agree with the others here about using a game engine instead.
Also is made easier with proprietary UV and joint tools that supports such early iteration without breaking everything. Which might be to much of a chore for some users. Thats why I really like the direction Autodesk is going with Stingray. As long as they stick with that investment. Application support for PBR shaderFX between Maya and Stingray is now under the microscope where where hopefully advancement and stability become a scrutinized well tuned priority. ( it could happen )
If one never considers Stingray for actual end use...
I could see it still driving art to Engine consideration.
