The Hunter WIP (Need desperate feedback)

So have been working on this scene like crazy, im now at the point of, choosing materials and colors and mood,i would love some feedback on what i have so far. i also did some crazy quick comp. in photoshop to show for what im going for.

I like the colors and mood, but the red/blue shift effect is very strong. That combined with the big drop shadows is making this really hard to read for me. I'd focus on establishing more of a clear focal point -- I'm honestly not sure what's going on in this scene.
