Can't believe I actually won! Really fun contest, and congrats to all the other winners.

Hey everyone, this is the WIP thread for this skin I'm making for the support starter shotgun.
The idea is to have a rusted skin with various spray painted decals, similar to the ZED ones I made.
So far I have the base rust coat (and a 200 Dosh price sticker!) done.
I'll update this thread as I make progress.

How did you get the weapon static mesh? i'm trying to find a fbx or obj from the SDK files with not much luck...

I've been wondering this as well actually, It would be super helpful if you could let us know.

Theres no mesh you can extract or open, UE3 dosnt allow extraction its all internally saved in an own format, you have to open the UV template and compare with the 3D preview / guess what is what, or help with importing a uv checker texture. Its a lot back and forth but works
