Hey, the Dropbox link doesn't work anymore due to high traffic, is there any other place where I can see some of the textures before getting the pack?
Also, related to above, are these textures tiled/repeated and can be used in a game right away?
I really wish they would have some sort of "remind me to give more later" button on these services like gumroad and the like for when Im actually not broke and am back on my feet and/or making it in the industry.
I gave $5 but I'd gladly give more when its not a choice between food and textures.
Working on a foliage/ nature pack now. If anyone has any feedback or ideas please let me know
I'm also not sure how much interest there is for this type of stuff as opposed to normal textures so let me know if you want to see more of this.
I'm sorry Joost I'm moving cross country in four days and I just took the dog to the vet today to get a tooth pulled and an abscess treated. But I will bookmark you for a future donation. I promise. Thank you for sharing.
7gigabytes There better be some really high quality wood in here. I better be able to print it off and tape it to my floor and nobody know the difference!
thanks everyone @pachermannI've got a couple of special hdris coming out soon. And I'm going to Belgium for Christmas so I'll have a bunch of new HDRis and textures then hopefully @poinball There's a torrent or you can download the archive straight from Gumroad. I'd really like to set up a proper site but it's not a top priority at the moment.
Aw, Dropbox Error, too much traffic. Will try later again I guess. Seriously awesome work there I feel so ashamed about my couple hundreds self-shot textures right now, haha!
So I quit my full time studio job last month so I could start doing a mix of freelance work and texture photography. Donations are always appreciated, as they enable me to take on less freelance contracts and spend more time on textures,HDRIs and various gear upgrades. I upgraded my old Canon 550d to a Nikon d750 and it has truly enabled me to step up my game. The high ISO performance and fast focusing really help with texture photography. As well as the 6 extra megapixels. I'll be releasing another big texture pack soon. I've raised the quality bar quite a lot as well. No more blurry textures or wonky perspectives and all textures are color calibrated. Here's a few samples taken with the new camera. View the high res images here! http://imgur.com/a/BOQZm
I'm also still looking into a good way to host all of my textures on a site but I'll probably have to hire someone to design a site. Which is out of my budget for now.
CC-0 is public domain. CC-BY requires that if someone is using/modifying your textures, they have to mention you as the original author. CC-BY-SA requires that they mention the author AND share any modifications under the same license.
CC-0 is like MIT, CC-BY is like BSD and CC-BY-SA is like GPL.

These aren't tiling, hope I didn't give that impression to anyone.
I've added a handful of them to this page:

If anyone is struggling to download the textures, here's a link to the torrent:

Not sure if this is relevant, but here's a somewhat obscure site with more free textures:
