Well Hello everyone!
I have a (I think) simple question!
I am rigging a setup of gear in 3ds max. So far everything is good but I have a problem down a certain part. Let me explain the situation in more details ; First I learn how to rig gear in 3ds following this tutorial: ([ame]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVbmcq0cwIw[/ame]) But When i come to apply the same principle for a gear in an angle like this: /
It obviously don't work. I have try a few style of expression in the wire parameters, but I can't seem to figure it out. If any of you could indicate me where to look or how to do it I would appreciate it a lot!.
Of course I made some research, but I can't seem to find anything, of course if the same issue (or problem) is point out in another part of the forum please feel free to redirect me.
Thank you for your help, and if you need any other information please ask.
And of course, have a nice day.

I just find the solution to my problem so I thought I could share my solution with you/or anyone in the same problem that might see this post.
So I rigged the gear just like in the tutorial but instead of giving it an angle right at the start I decided to crate a spline controller for my gear. So once my spline controller is finish I linked my gear to the spline and voila! Pretty simple actually, so now I can now move my spline instead of my gear and give it an angle or any position while my gear rotation is not affected.
I hope this was useful to somebody else.
In any case, thank you and have a nice day.
