Spaceman W.I.P - will love some feedback.

Still working on the body armour/suit, but it looks like so:

I know there isn't a lot to go on yet, but I will be keeping you posted with progress.

It would also be good to get feedback on my poly distribution etc.. etc.. later down the line. As I want to set him up as a fully rigged character for unreal.

I will aim to create the textures with poly painting/photoshop and Quixel. Cheers for looking, and looking forward to some criticism.

    I prefer the teeth of the concept moreover the ones currently on your 3D sculpt. I'd rework the chin, cheekbones, and browline....the eye sockets actually sit outside in front of the cheeks. If your really trying to match the concept, you'd have to re-work the facial structure. (almost start over).

    I think you went into detailing too soon and and didn't nail your foundation, nor a good silhouette. Looking at the head inside the dome in your second image....I don't see the forms from the silhouette. There there for sure, but could be more pronounced and stronger.

    I guess I've been looking at it too long :/ now you say it, it's all super obvious. I will start from the low poly model again and try all these suggestions. You're right about jumping into detail too soon. Perhaps I should block out the body this time round too? Would that be a better way to tackle it?

    I have been playing around for a while today, but I started fresh and would love the feedback as I go. Thanks for the the advice before pixelpatron, I've taken it all on and I hope this looks a lot more like the concept. Ignore the missing hands and the low poly feet, they are just place holders for now.

    Any advice on:

    - Doing the fabric, any good tutorials or ways to figure out folds etc...
    - Proportions
    - Any and/or everything else
