Does anyone know where I can find bulk images for reference, I'm currently working on a game set in the 1950's America and while Google is great I keep stumbling across the same images, I was hoping there might be something that already exists.
Flickr, Pinterest and especially Ebay can be very useful for certain things. Some books have loads of reference that's very hard to find online. Museums are also great if you're willing to put in the effort
Flickr is great, I usually just try searching loads of different keywords until I find what I need. If I'm really struggling to find anything online I will start searching for books that might contain relevant images but that's very rare.
Flickr is good, but annoying when you have to work around them trying to stop you from saving pictures. I also like Google Maps for specific locations, they show images taken at that location and street view is nice at getting a 360 look at the area. Taking pictures yourself is really nice if you can.
Thanks guys, quickly tried Flickr, great resource but the fact you can't save is really quite lame, Pintrest seems decent though, thanks for the recommendations.
Get a chrome extension called "I'm a gentleman". It allows you to bulk-download images from any website or go one by one, even images that are protected somehow.
