do you have any idea of metallic object that could fit in the design ? just to bring a little more variation and not just skin/cloth
first I thought about a metal belt with some kind of ornament but I wonder if this would be limiting his freedom of movement
I'll probably go with nunchaku as a weapon and a spectral chinese dragon surrounding him

found some time at lunchtime to block out the nunchaku
EDIT : sorry if my renders are too dark, but with my house and my workplace I work on a total of 4 monitors and each of them are calibrated differently
But his jacket doesn't make much sense, the top doesn't flow at all with the hanging part under the belt. Could be nice to keep that hanging part but align the top with it.

I agree that you loose the interesting diagonal line on the chest but it makes more sense.
