Ever had one of those projects you just can't seem to get looking how you want, this is one of mine. This was the first hard surface modeling study I attempted in zbrush. The idea was a homage to V for Vendetta, A armored Guy Fawkes mask I was thinking could look like someone hand made in a workshop. I started poly-painting and decided to shelf the project for a bit. I think if I revisit the project, i'm going to dump the polypaint and texture it in substance painter as a PBR texturing study.
Taking a break from some of my stuff for my long term project. Made a quick model of Hestia's Knife from the anime "Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon." My girlfriend and I had an idea to make game asset versions of weapons and equipment from animes, cartoons, and older 2d games just for fun and practice.
Demon Character I've been sculpting in my spare time. Starting to work on the armor and accessories for him. Trying to challenge myself to do aspects of the modeling in zBrush. Planning to take eventually full circle, retypo, bake, and rig.
Semi-Finished shots of my unreal scene "The Infernal Keep." I created all of the assets for the scene except the floor and wall textures from substance source, and the particle systems from the Infinity Blade pack. More on my artstation here https://www.artstation.com/artwork/LweNP
Sooo... It's been a long time since I've updated this thread and I've done a TON of work between my last post and now. Was recently reflecting on my work from the last few years and figured I could start where I left off here!
These were a few of the custom assets I made for my Tomb of Horrors scene
I built this model originally as a 3d printing project, then used the mesh as a highpoly. Really loved how the model and print came out! (the resin castings of the 3d print an the painted prop below the renders)
This axe was based on one of my D&D characters who was a Barbarian Doctor. It was also my first try at modeling on Twitch, something i'm going to start doing again very soon!
One of my favorite concept artists, Fernando Correa, posted a concept of this sword on his ArtStation and said to model it if you wanted to, so i did because its awesome
A few props I made for the Box of Mystery challenge on Artstation last year, didn't end up finishing the challenge but I really like how the props came out.
This is still probably my favorite project in my portfolio, Maeve B posted an awesome Sword of Fathoms concept on Twitter and I knew I had to model it once I saw it.
Quick fan art environment project I put together based on the gravesite on the edge of your farm in Stardew Valley. Wanted to mess around a bit more with dressing a scene out with Megascans assets in Unreal.
This is my current project! These are assets for a small FPS game i'm developing in Unreal (currently just calling the Anvil Project because I can't decide on a name )
Got to a point I wanted to establish a general mood and feel for my indie game project. Being primarily a 3D artist... concept art definitely isn’t my forte, but I watched a few tutorials and gave it a swing!
