Has anyone tried the Tangent normal brush in Krita?

Not yet, but I sure will give it a try! I'm working on a project that requires me to paint normals right now, this is perfect for me.

I played around with it and posted in another forum. It's really nice, different using tilt like that but i got more used to it as i used it.

I just need to set up kritia with my favorite brushes.

This seems to be a better way to work on flow maps, this way you just brush in the direction of your flow and it paints the correct tangent

Gah! Now I'm kicking myself for going for the cheaper Wacom without tilt sensitivity. T_T

There's a couple of fringe features in Krita that help the workflow that are mentioned in the manual.

thanks for the input guys, I will try something out and post too. is it possible to do nDO style normal painting in this?

If you mean generating an emboss? Not currently.
