I've noticed some other app logos in the images but cant find much of an explanation about how mega scans is working in conjunction with other application's although i'm quite out of the loop.
I just thought mega scans was pretty much just a library of materials for DDo. How does this work with Modo? Can just import materials into modo or am I able to use DDo style tools? Or??! Really dont know what to expect!
Megascans came as a starter pack to 1.8 and will be separate for 2.0 but comes as DDO painter integration aswell. With the final release you can use scanned surfaces, models (mesh, material setup..) etc in an extra library where you can download them already calibrated for external engines like cryengine, UE4, modo, marmoset etc.
