Hi,
I downloaded this shader called Cryengine 3 vertex blend shader. I changed my viewport driver to Legacy Direct 3d. Restarted 3dsmax. When I assign a texture to the shader and tick display tab, the texture doesn't display in the viewport.
I am using 3dsmax 2014.

are there better viewport shaders than this. i would have loved to use xiloul shader but it has problems with 3dsmax versions after 2012.
If this is some issue with Max 2015, I'll have to download a trial or something to test it. :P
I remember using the shader before and it worked correctly a couple of months ago. I downloaded the recent service park for 3dsmax 2014 to fix the problem I was having with viewport canvas.
The latest service pack might have something to do with the problem maybe it removed support for DirectX 9.0 or something. I may be wrong.

Yeah, I may have to get 3dsmax 2015 at some point but right now I have a lot of scripts and plugins I use with 2014. Not sure if some of them support the newer versions.
