[3Ds Max] Center Pivot Shortcut working strange

It works only when I open Hierarchy tab and press the shortcut. When I just select an object and press it then hothing happens. I use 2016 version, is it a bug?

Never used it but if it won't work for you, you can assign the shortcut to a custom macroscript instead, something like:

macroScript CenterSelPivot category:"Extras" tooltip:"Center Pivot"
(
    on execute do for obj in selection do obj.pivot = obj.center
)

No, I don't do that often, clicking the button in hierarchy tab once a month doesn't call for a shortcut But I write short code snippets multiple times a day, there's always something that can be made easier this way and I'm sooo lazy...
