This workshop will be a great introduction to the innovative 3D texturing tool Substance painter for use in games and 3D art.
We will introduce the interface, tools and workflows, finishing with a good understanding of how to texture in 3D. We will explore texture painting approaches for realistic materials and how textures can be exported for use in a Games Engine and Maya

yeah if you cant combine it with another vacation it becomes very costly thats why i didn't do it this year (and because i needed to go home with the Christmas holidays). then again i know its extremely energizing being around so many artists. I like that they`re doing the streaming thing though, shame its a bit of a technical mess on the on-demand side of things but hopefully that will be sorted out in the coming weeks
Right now none of the videos are online... which is very fucking fustrating. :thumbdown:
thats probably why the tix aren't on sale right now as well.
I should imagine it's going to take a while to edit them and make them look super slick.
I missed probably 60-70% of talks due to time zones and still haven't watched much of any of it.
At the very least start putting them up in the order they are doing them in... There is only the opening ceremony available to watch.
