Hey Polycounters!
I'm currently working on this scene for my portfolio and would love to get some feedback, critique and general input from you guys along the way!
So here goes:
It's gonna be a fairly small scene (in size), point & click adventure style. A dusty cave somewhere in the desert which is home to a weird little treasure goblin. He collects goods of high value, or at least what he thinks might be of value, from literally everywhere.
"But how does he do that?" - you might ask. Brilliant question! He's got this nifty little thing called the Time Dimension Machine, short T.D.M., which he "borrowed" from some Doctor. The TDM allows him to travel to any place, even parallel universes, and time to collect his goods. He just has to put in some coordinates and formulas, pretty straight forward quantum physics stuff. Unfortunately he can't read so his travels are pretty random.
I guess that's enough for the background story so far. Let's talk art:
My goal here is to get a stylized style in terms of modeling, comic-ish. The textures on the other hand should be fairly realistic, PBR ftw.
Here are the first two assets and of course I'll spam this thread with more:

Great job, great design, I have nothing else to say than I'd like to see more.
Looking forward to more !
@VanLogan: I'm not sure if I could push the shape even more without having it look weird. I'll see how well it will read once it's in the final scene with proper lighting. So I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the feedback!
And I finall found some time to come back to this. Started blocking out the ideas for the scene in Modo to see how it all works together and what kinda props I need to add to the scene.
What do you guys think?
