Anybody know why this happens and even better, how to fix it?

I'm using the topology brush, everything is fine and all of a sudden these poly go crazy. Its happened before too and I don't know why. Maybe I need to turn on backface mask or something but even so, I need to know if I can fix this somehow.

ok this sucks but as I haven't found a true solution I had to hack this a little. Basically I saved out a couple of versions of the tool. I noticed that this happened all of a sudden once I had a certain amount of topology laid down with the topology brush. So I'm thinking either zBrush can only handle a certain amount of these topology lines or the topology lines I had created were trying to resolve with other lines that didn't make sense at all.

Either way, on one tool, I deleted the topology lines until this error disappeared then on the other tools I deleted the opposite lines. Then I combined the resulting meshes in Max. A bit of a chore but it worked thankfully.
