Here is my Gundam Model that I made for fun. Their is a ton more that I want to do to it however time is my biggest problem. I am still learning how to get a nice image from Renderman. Any comments welcome.

Renderman should be the least of your concern. You should focus on modeling and especially proportions right now.
Get the proportions right first. Then start focusing on each piece adding smaller and smaller details to give each piece sense of scale.
If you want reference for details, search "Gundam Ver. Ka" and you'll find lots of Gunpla designed by Hajime Katoji.
