So, I've only come back to NDO after a lengthy break, but going through the tutorials, I found that somehow, my NDO isn't like everyone else's!
As seen in the picture. My Slants are doing the opposite that I want. I am kind of confused. I tried reinstalling it, and now unsure what's going on. And this is the latest Photoshop CC 2015 version also, so I know it's not Photoshop ( or is it?!)
Is this a known bug?
Basically, it's just a rather annoying thing. Nothing I can't just work around with for now (unless it has any problems importing into Substance / UE4).
Anyone know how to fix this? Or are my settings just off? (Or am I just delusional?)

did you change the direction ?

Part 1
"Set the Slant to down and use the Rounded Rectangle tool to create this shape. Afterwards, set the layer's Fill to 95%, which allows for more layering, as shown below."
But, I obviously can't do that unless I use Slant Up. I am thinking it may be a typo, but, I was unsure. Unless I am just wrong.
slant down is actually down for me.
Maybe it is just a weird bug, try reinstalling it.
If I had to guess, maybe the baker is set to Y-, and the viewer defaults to Y+?
The map, as it's viewed in photoshop, should be up-slanted if you load it into Unreal.
I have unchecked it and it seems to be working as intended now. Thanks for the help. I just want to make sure though...this should be switched on if I am trying to imported this elsewhere (Like Substance/UE4)?
So it's going to look the complete opposite on export?
If that's the case, then when you finish editing the normal map, save it out as a TGA. Then bring it back into photoshop, and go to the green channel and hit ctrl+I, to invert it. Then it's compatible with UE4.
there won't be a 1.9 it is straight to 2.0
