Hello everyone I'm new on the forum. So I've been doing art for years, but I'm really new to digital art only been doing it for 3 months. I would like to hear everyone's feed back.
This is gonna sound counter to what a lot of people often say, but feel free to trace some of your reference images for practice and to get a feel for how the shapes fit together. Obviously you don't use it in your final piece but It'll give you a bit of muscle memory and confidence of knowing the forms as you move into a more forward.

Most of what I see in your work is a medieval tapestry style of ignoring perspective and scale. Cropping characters out of scenes with no obvious tie in to the environment can be a no-no with finished work. Further, (I'm sure people have said this already) you should consider taking some figure drawing classes so you can really pay attention to how bones, muscles, and limbs shift in perspective when they're further or closer to the viewer. studying fabric bends on bodies when they're still or in motion is also SUPER helpful when trying to convey a fight or a relaxed pose.
This is why I made this post. I've had to many people tell me my art is "great" , but I know something was off. Thank you Rokugan, and Al's2Dart for those points.

Have a look at Proko's video. He makes it very easy for beginners to understand the basics.

I agree! Tracing over some figures for practice may really help. Also, Andrew Loomis has a good book which details how to draw figures: [ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Figure-Drawing-All-its-Worth/dp/0857680986/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1440851655&sr=8-1&keywords=figure+drawing+for+all+it's+worth"]Figure Drawing for All it's Worth: Amazon.co.uk: Andrew Loomis: 9780857680983: Books[/ame]
Sure it is fun but it's really counterproductive, you'll end up picking up bad habits if you keep at it.
My best advice would be, go on ctrlpaint as suggested and start doing studies. Tons of them.
I highly suggest this video: [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kfK46nruKM[/ame]
it'll help you understand how to study and what to do.
