Honestly, the texture work is fine, but the model itself leaves a lot to be desired. Even though I know its suppsoed to be cartoony and thus exaggerate certain physical traits, the way you've done it isn't aesthetically pleasing at all. The face looks far too small for the head, as mentioned before the legs are pathetically small, and the arms look terribly bulbous.
I think he looks fine considering the style he's going for. Feels like he belongs in the Asterix and Obelix universe, like Maximus Gluteus' long lost brother!
Okay, that explains a lot. You probably should have kept the face the way it is in the concept (read; cartoonish) instead of going for realistic proportions. It just looks... wrong.
