Can I ask why the head is 20 million polys? The head seems pretty simplistic, if you are subdividing just to subdivide, you should rethink your approach.
Hey Rielaiz, looking good so far. Not sure if you're familiar with Zbrushes dynamesh workflow but that is a really fun way to work. There's a great video by Josh Singh on youtube where he explains how he uses dynamesh.
Anyways, keep it up!
Hi Blovorix, thank you . Dynamesh is great. I have used dynamesh for this sculpt. I will check out the Josh Singh video. He more than likely has a better workflow than I do at this point

Currently modelling polygons. The Zmodeler tool is making life so much easier now.

Thank you, I probably should, but letting my imagination travel with this one
I played around with a skin shader in the node tree.

The original mesh was built in Zbrush with Zmodeler.
I have changed the proportions, more to match my artwork.
Now ready for detailing in Zbrush...
Before going into Zbrush for the detail, I thought that building a node shader would be helpful,
when considering said detail.
Here is my progress, detailing in Zbrush.
This head model is at around 20 million polygons.
I had to break the model up to Subtools, as 44 million
Polygons was too much for a 12 gig machine.
Thinking about over drawing some armour and a cloak
I will see what I can do
Thank you, maybe I should I ramped up the polycount to achieve sharp detail.
Maybe once I have achieved the sharp detail, I can use Zremesher with Adaptive switched on, to more localise
detail and reduce polycount.
The more optimised workflows in Zbrush are still mostly a mystery to me, but I am learning.
I thought that my reply didn't post, but it did
This new version of the head sculpt is 4.5 million polygons
Anyways, keep it up!
