Stylized DL-44 *pew pew*

I'm going to attempt a stylized version of Han Solo's DL-44 Blaster.
I'm currently trying to overhaul my portfolio in preparation for graduation later this year, so i'd really love some feedback.
Here's my sculpt so far, i'm going to finish off the last bits then polish it up and then try push for some more stylized forms, then give it a hand painted finish.

I think i need to start pushing style into the forms now.
Looks good so far! Small areas that could use a little more love:
The blaster tip holes- they feel a little "stuck on".
The two semi-circle stips on top of the scope feel a little unrefined in this shot. Other parts of the weapon are tighter so this stands out.
The handle horizontal cuts could have a little variety in their depth and weathering.
That said, you're off to a great start!
