Hello. I'm trying to subdevide in ZBrush. My mesh hit that point where I can no longer subdevide. Since I'm only at 20% of my 32GB capacity I figured I would just go into preferences>memory and put everything to "max settings." It still won't let me subdivide. What am I doing wrong?

Your max poly per mesh is 80 million. Your current mesh is 26 million. 26m x 4 is greater than 80 million, so it's working correctly.

Since it appears as though you have separate polygroups, I'd recommend just splitting them into different subtools where you can utilize your 80m limit to them individually.

Ohhh, I see now. Million is the unit it represents. I'm doing what you said now. I have 40 subtools and I'm going to make them 5 groups (one per row). My subtool list is a bit scattered since I pressed the ungroup button so I'm just finding the subtools I want and 1 by 1, then shooting them to the top of the list before merging down.
