I am trying to create a normal map and a diffuse texture(for the edges) of a cracked glass effect.
I have dabbled with creating a normal map from a photographic source, but I did not end up with desireable results. (too much randomness going on)
Tried playing around with a creating a quick mesh and using maya's shatter tools, couldnt get anything that work fine. Maybe my settings were off.
So any pointers in how to create a glass mesh or a proper cracked glass texture will be very much appreciated.

PS : Very ez to customize because I made ui for relevant settings theres just like 4 sliders to get w/e look you want. If you just want the obj lemme know
It can definitely be done in maya too, might not be with default tools tho..
