Interior scene from concept art I discovered on google. I believe it's john sweeney's work but not 100 % sure. Here's what I got. Still heavily WIP and would love suggestions on modeling torn wallpaper since it's not going too well for me.
Good block out so far. Maybe you could add your textures first before adding too much edges on the tiles or wooden doors ? It's depend on the level of detail you want to reach of course.
But an in game pattern like that is more often created by the normal and only modelize where you need detail, on the edge of the silhouette or to break repetition for exemple.
THanks @theklu much appreciated! Yes @vincent_deroizer that is a really good point I didn't think of T_T Thanks for the tip I will adjust accordingly! Cheers!
So far so fun Part IV. Making some progress, added debris, trash cards, microwaves and toasters, and some lights etc. Having a lot of fun with this and really branching out of my comfort zone for this one. Hi-res and the rest of my art can be found on coreyhill.artstation.com. Hope you guys enjoy. Feedback welcomed and appreciated! Cheers! Happy Sunday!
The wood textures are very obviously wrapped, especially on the thing over the kitchen island. Make the wood follow along the planks properly and it would look more realistic. Keep it up!
