Animating (modeling?) toon-style fire effects (Ni No Kuni style)
Ok, so I've been trying to find tutorials all over the internet to see how it's done but to no avail. This is my first thread here so I apologize if it's in the wrong section (I hope moderators will move it to its rightful place in that case), but I honestly need help.
How would one approach to creating this sort of animation/modeling of special effects?
What I'm talking about is the fire effect in Ni No Kuni's flame attacks.
It's similar in style to Naruto UNS fire attacks so if anyone has any clue I would appreciate the help. :c
