Updating Graphics Card need suggestion

Hello everyone.

My config:

CPU - Intel i7 4790.
MoBo - Asus H97 Pro.
SMPS - Antec TruePower 650W 80Plus gold.
RAM - CORSAIR Vengeance 2X8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600.
Monitor - LG 25UM64 UltraWide 21:9.
Cabinet - Zebronic (regular).
HDD - Seagate 1 TB.
GPU:Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1 GB DDR5.

My main use :3D Modeling Maya,ZBrush sculpting,Photoshop,rendering,gaming.

Please suggest GPU under $260 to 300 which runs on my given config and use.

I am looking for Geforce GTX 960 4GB because its fit to my budget.But is it worth to buy or shall I go for 700 series 770 or 760.Or any other GPU option?

Also any other upgradation will need to improve this config specially cabinet,cooler etc.

Stick with the 900 series, older GPUs do not support the full dx12 feature set.
