Sharing a self portrait I did for class in Maya. I am now currently adding detail in Zbrush and will work towards then texturing it. It looks too symmetrical to me right now. Any feedback welcome.
What's its topology like ? It seems awfully dense around his mouth compared to the rest. Nasal bone seems off, and pretty wide nose. Transition between eyelid to eyebrow is also off. Do you use reference ? Get plenty more.
Also not sure if you're familiar with face planes. Try to get that right first off. With lower subdiv level.
