Hey all,
It's been a while since I posted any work here on the forums so here we go.
This is a realistic recreation of the Steel War Axe from Skyrim. I used the original in game weapon and several real life re-creations as concept and inspiration.
Lowpoly with/without wires from 3dsmax and highpoly from zbrush.

Crits and advice welcome!

Keep up the awesome work!
Did you start with a high poly on this? It looks as if you could have potentially faked not making a high poly and still achieve these results somehow. I'm just curious to know if theres any black magic happening here
Limewax: I did use a highpoly for most of the detail but there is some normal work done in photoshop and substance painter. I'll add a pic of the highpoly and lowpoly later on today.
Except the inner pattern of the blade(the grid thing) looks too modern.
But who don't like antique replica car with a turbo on it.
I feel the same way about the inner pattern but it's part of the original in game weapon so I wanted to stay pretty close to that.
