so what is substance live about anyway?

I asked the support a while ago only got some vague answer, now I'm about to upgrade from 4 to 5 and it brings me down to this again, from what I understand is upgrade to live is cheaper and better than upgrade to a single app in the normal way? am I correct or not, and what's the catch of live?

so let me refine the question a little, I have three apps, design, painter and b2m, now I want to upgrade design from ver4 to ver5, what's the best option for me, upgrade single app or go live? cheers.

If Live is cheaper there is no catch. In fact you get more. I recently paid ~25 dollars to purchase B2M3 just to upgrade to a live account because of the bonus features you get. You get access to beta forums/downloads for their software as well as monthly drops which give you a few free substances a month including cool stuff like filters.
