Can't run Suite

We've got the suite running on one of our machines. Now, when we try to install a second license on my machine, we either get crash reports or SUITE.exe just freezes (no activity in task manager and quixel interface is completely unresponsive)

(("The SUITE has crashed, Restarting)) - then, if we close quixel, it reopens itself, and if you click on the DDO icon a message box appears that says "No input paths selected. Aborting batch"

also, we're never prompted to activate the software, maybe that has something to do with it?

any help would be great
