Redux - Improvement Thread

Hi

This is my first thread here at Polycount, been lurking around for a few months now. Alot of great artists here and i see that people can get good feedback on their work.

Ive been doing 3d for almost four years now. Three of the years ive been working in my own firm cofounded by a friend i met at school. We have created our own pipeline based on what we have thought is the correct way of doing stuff based on what information we have found.

Now it would be nice to get some feedback from people outside of our little bubble and that propably have a different approach to how they do things.

I have never done models for games, and atm i will not focus on that.

Kind regards Thomas Rønning
I mainly make models for whats needed to the job (camera angle, style, lod), and on my personal projects its for the most part highpoly, hardsurface - subd im going for.

In this thread i will post random personal work and hope for feedback on things that need change.

I will start off with the m4 we all love so mutch :)

On this model ive used images found on the internet as reference and ive strugeled to find the right angles of a real gun (alot of replicas and airsoftguns out there). So if anyone could point out stuff thats completely wrong on my model i would be happy.

The second project im working on is a Lamborghini Countach. Here i need some help with the lighting, never lighted a car before. Its supposed to be an studio lighting. If someone could point out where i should have the area light reflections and so on.

You can also point out things that are wrong with the model, lines or camera aswell.

The texturing is not done, and im planing to put the car in a scenerey.

I will come back with some more images.
