I am very new to Substance, but I'm quickly realizing how powerful it is. I am trying to achieve a look similar to this:
Mainly a blend of 3 materials: the base reddish metal, the greenish wet/worn metal, and the random and cavity based rust.
Should I create 3 separate substances in Substance Designer, then bring them into Painter, and apply? Or do you think these could all be created procedurally in Designer?

Is that a procedural generator, or do you paint the drips on, using gravity?
(admittedly, still a Substance n00b)
Now on to a completely different material. A rough tiled stone:
Is it possible to create a tileable stone material like this in Substance Designer? From what I've found online so far, it seems like more regular bricks and stones are possible, but what about something with this much variety (especially in the height map)?
I've done something similar in Zbrush before, but I'd like to create this one in Substance. If anyone knows of a good tutorial for creating stone like this, I'm all ears.
The 'up' direction on the drip comes from the generated position map. When you look at the Position baker in the 'Scene Information Baking' dialog you can see that it's possible to change the axis to something other than Y.
For a model laying flat you can change it to Z or X to change the direction of drips and other gravitational effects.
